US Open
Design studio: Thornberg & Forester
I had the opportunity to design and animate the show open for the US Open broadcast. A key highlight and challenging shot involved a start deep from space, swift push in on earth, flying over a New York City made of glass buildings, show four pieces of replaceable art, and fly out to logo, all with no cuts and continuous camera move.
The main tool for the animation was Cinema 4D. An After Effects template was provided to the client with option to swap in the photos of their choice. The city was made from a combination of DEM Earth, x-particles, some low poly models, and c4d mograph, rendered with octane.

A look at the tools.
