I had the opportunity to pitch on this and bring it through final.  The client was looking for some kind of ice motif, with possibly a bit of other worldly organic growth or even sickliness.  Fine by me!  Below you can see some motion tests and frames trying to capture the vibe of the show, my favorite of which has the feeling of being trapped under ice and seeing flashlights above.
